AWARDS
getting started
with awana awards
You’ve seen awards throughout this catalog, and perhaps you’re wondering
why awards are important and how you’re supposed to use them. They have
been a key part of the effectiveness of Awana Clubs for many years. Awards
motivate and celebrate kids and students as they learn throughout the year by
encouraging both short-term and long-term spiritual growth.
so, how do awards work?
1. Through-the-Year: Uniform Awards (Cubbies, Sparks, T&T)
•
Build Faithfulness: Weekly or monthly awards encourage attendance,
Scripture memorization and time in God’s Word.

Mark Milestones: Celebrate progress and show kids where they’ve
been— and where they’re going.
•

handbook sections, activities, reviews, extra credit books and more!

(Puggles – Journey)

journey they’ve traveled all year.

verses learned and biblical truths hidden in their hearts.
