large group time
During Large Group Time, kids gather
together for age-appropriate worship, Bible
teaching and prayer. Large Group Leader
Guides offer the help your team will need to
provide a strong reinforcement of the Bible
truths kids learn in their handbooks. Large
Group Time will give you the opportunity to
help your kids understand the story of the
Bible, not just Bible stories.
GETTING STARTED
small group time
Small Group Time is the heart of Awana Clubs.
Leaders gather with the same kids
(approximately 5-7) each week for prayer,
group conversations and individual instruction.
Each child has a handbook that contains Bible
memory verses, definitions of key words and
Bible readings. During Small Group Time,
leaders help kids learn and understand
Scripture and apply it to their lives.
       games
Kids love fun! The unique Awana Clubs games
are high-energy and will draw many of your
kids back week after week. Game Time is
carefully designed to appeal to every child,
regardless of her or his athletic ability, while
fostering connections and helping kids learn
to be encouraging teammates. Game Time is
an excellent opportunity for relational
discipleship between kids and leaders.
      AWARDS
Awards mark the discipleship milestones kids
hit as they journey through their handbooks.
Some awards are for small accomplishments,
others are for completing one or more years
of Awana Clubs curriculum. Our carefully
crafted and tested awards system has a proven
track record and is the secret sauce for helping
motivate your kids in their discipleship journey,
from week to week and year to year.
