The Year’s Best Family Ministry Event!
What is an Awana Grand Prix?
During Grand Prix season, families all around the country sit at the kitchen table formulating their cre-
ative design and constructing their prize-winning car. They select paint and stickers at the craft store,
hoping for a Best Design award. On the big day, a racetrack is at the center of cheering family and
friends. This is a small snapshot of an Awana Grand PrixTM!
Grand Prix is a highly anticipated event that draws families to your church for fun and fellowship. It’s
a great opportunity to share the life-giving message of the Gospel and make connections with those
who may not normally attend your church. Plus, it’s a fun team building experience for your leaders,
allowing them to build deeper relationships with each other, their club kids and their families.
Why host an Awana Grand Prix?
The Awana Grand Prix isn’t just about racing cars—it’s a powerful opportunity to intentionally
engage entire families in a fun and meaningful way. This once-a-year event creates space for bonding,
connection and Gospel impact that goes far beyond the track. Reaching families is part of the weekly
Awana Clubs experience, but once a year, many clubs expand their impact as they engage families
with Grand Prix. For a few weeks the whole family comes together for Grand Prix season.
