Using the Game Square allows four teams to play simultaneously without sacrificing order or 
excitement. Kids will play more and watch less. With the Game Square, kids will play unique 
games that they’re unlikely to experience anywhere else. This keeps kids coming back for more 
fun, bringing their friends along with them. The Game Square helps you expand your club and 
your outreach, helping more kids know, love and serve Jesus!  
This diagram lays out how to set up your Awana Game Square. All of the game books found on 
page 73 of this catalog will explain how to set up and use the Game Square. We recommend 
starting with our new 12-Week Game Time Challenge Booklet! 
The lines for your Awana Game Square can be temporary or permanent, depending on your 
needs. We recommend permanent or semi-permanent colored tape. Some churches paint the 
lines on the floor and some paint the lines in the parking lot for games on good weather days. 
No matter which options you choose, the Awana Game Square provides an excellent foundation 
for Game Time at your Awana Club.
