My ministry has poured into her mom and her family in everyday living situations and indirectly to Cassie through volunteers I had the joy of recruiting, equipping and nurturing in disciple making skills. Cassie is flourishing in her faith, eager to learn and ask hard questions as she feels the press of hostility at school, and eager to serve Jesus by leading preschoolers to sing songs of praise to Jesus each week. I praise God for evidence of Gods grace in her life.A FAMILYA family started sending their children to Awana, came to an end of the year program and have been there for over a year now, growing together in Jesus!A MOM A parent who has been attending for four years was inspired to volunteer because her child (a junior leader) was serving and inspired her to be an example and serve as well!DISCIPL E SHIPA SHELTERM A K E S AA year and a half ago we offered eight weeks of free basketball camps on Saturdays in the winter. This year we had 290 volunteers give up an entire week to serve at camp. About 150 of those were middle and highschoolers. Every year volunteers grow in their faith and their ability to share the gospel, etc. Last year I had a gentleman who was about 65 who attended and served in the church all his life, and was able to lead a kid to Christ for the very first time. This year, I had a 15 year old girl who led a group almost entirely on her own. You could just see how proud she was. Again, the parents of all of those teens are so thankful that we are giving their kids a place to serve and live out their faith. At the same time, we are loving our city and changing the culture. 42 43'
